Barbara's father dies 4 days after her 4th birthday (from tuberculosis). Barbara's mother marries Adalbert Kullmann from Roßbach. She dies from tuberculosis when Barbara is 13 years old.
1866 Barbara's stepfather Adalbert Kullmann and Barbara's half siblings Anna Maria (married Krummow) and Peter Kullmann emigrate to the U.S.
23 November 1873 Barbara marries Reinhard Zang (1849-1905) from Stockstadt am Main. They are married at Kapuzinerkirche Aschaffenburg.
