26 April 1851 Barbara's son Johann (William) Schneider is born. Barbara is not married. The father of the child is Adam Krohe from Nilkheimer Hof near Aschaffenburg, a son of the shepherd Johann Martin Krohe.

Godfather is Johann Krohe from Nilkheim near Aschaffenburg. He is the brother of Adam Krohe.
28 April 1851Barbara's sister Margaretha Schneider emigrates to the U.S. and arrives in New York.

She marries Leonhard Gentil from Stockstadt am Main. The family lives in Greenup, Kentucky, and Ironton, Ohio.
29 September 1853 Barbara's son Adam Schneider is born. Barbara is not married. The father of the child is Adam Krohe from Nilkheimer Hof near Aschaffenburg, a son of the shepherd Johann Martin Krohe.

Godfather is Adam Hösbacher from Winzenhohl.

It seems that after her arrival in the U.S. Barbara marries Adam Krohe, the father of her two sons because she is mentioned as Barbara Grohe in Census 1860 and as Barbara Roe when she marries Bernhard Dorn. Also her sons use the name Krohe.

But it is not at all clear if Adam emigrated, if the couple married or was divorced or if Adam passed.

She marries Philipp L. Tieman on 30 January 1888.

Please note: It is not clear if the 10-year-old daughter Mary is a child of Barbara. Barbara and Bernhard married in 1865 so it is very likely that something was mixed up. Annie, 4, must be the girl who is called Mary later in her life.

30 January 1871The daughter Margaret Dorn (1871-1934) is born in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She marries Thomas Donnelly on 7 September 1887.
25 June 1871Barbara's husband Bernhard dies and is buried at Walnut Hills Cemetery, Cincinnati.

She was buried on 4 August 1913 at Saint Mary Cemetery, Saint Bernard City, Hamilton, Ohio.
