1924The son Arthur Frank Zang is born in Mainaschaff. In 1954 he marries Florence Loretta Ollenburg (named Schreck from first marriage).

He dies on 14 June 1992 in San Bernardino, California.
1927The daughter Dorothy is born in Mainaschaff.

The family emigrates to the U.S.

Valentin had intended to take the ship Stuttgart in February 1929 but decided to leave one month later. Therefore his name is striked through in the ship list. He takes the following ship in March 1929:
