The daughter Mary Hergenröther is born.
2 September 1842 Elizabeth's son John Hergenröther is born.

He marries Barbara Yakel (1851-1919) on 24 August 1869.

In 1880 John lives in Ward 8, Baltimore, together with his wife and three children: Lizzie, 8, Mary, 6, Emma, 4.

In 1900 John lives in Ward 11, Baltimore, together with his wife and three children: Elizabeth, 28, Frederick, 13, Teresa, 10. Census tells us that Lizzie is married and had 4 children of whom 3 are alive.

In 1910 John lives in Ward 9, Baltimore, together with his wife and two children: Frederick, 24, and Teresa, 20. Census tells us that John and Barbara had eight children and that 5 are alive.
